I thought I read somewhere that the Negative One was not part of the album?  Or maybe that was part of my imagination.

Edit: Oh wait, it's just not the official 1st single of it.

Good god, I couldn't stand that production. Otherwise, musically, I enjoyed it. More than I have most of their material (and the sourest of stones), as I'm not really into this kind of music all that much these days. But I'd like this a whole lot more if the drums didn't sound like they were slapping my ear holes and it didn't sound so...flat... I couldn't finish the song because of it, and probably won't even try the album if this is how it sounds. I'd get over it if I was really blown away by the music but, like I said, this was kinda on a whim. I'm surprised I didn't dislike it though.

Look what Devy has done to me...FFFFFF-

Mladen

That song was good, but I hope it's a grower. The song titles look OK, as well as the cover - I'm sure there will be some talk about the album title, but it seems only appropriate...

So i've heard rumours about Krimh, Jay Weinberg, Chris Adler and now Roy Mayorga. I'm very curious at this point. Roy wouldn't be a surprise though.

Out of those 4, I feel there's a bigger chance of it being Chris Adler but of course I don't know shit cause I don't know who it is.

Hope I'm right though.

Genowyn

Not that I really intend to go to any shows but that list of tourdates is a great example of why I'm glad I live an hour from Toronto and not in, say, Calgary.

Really hoping this album manages to recapture whatever happened on Vol. 3 though.

Adler has said it's not him.

I thought I saw more than once him playing around with the question avoiding saying yes or no.

Quote"You know, I listened to it and I thought it sounded a little bit like me, too," he admitted. "At the moment, I just don't recall doing it.
That's some level A trolling!  :lol

I'd like it to be Lombardo :P

He needs a new home and he'd fit right in.

New video, new masks, and speculations about new band members. What a great time to be a Slipknot fan.  :metal

New bassist is most likely Alessandro Venturella, who was in Krokodil, and a guitar tech for Mastodon. The bassist in the video has identical hand tattoos.

1 down, 1 to go.

Ben_Jamin

I liked that song and video. How they 'initiated' them by killing them, then you see them playing is great.

I enjoy the contrast in the verses and the bridge is great. I think i'll enjoy this album, it does sound like its gonna be a mix of vol.3 and their self titled.

wolfking

Not a bad song.  Crazy video, I don't really understand it though.

Hope we find out all the info soon.

New bassist and drummer and why Joey left.

Listening to the new album now on Spotify, it's pretty good. not Vol 3 good, but so far it's at least on a par with All Hope, probably a bit better IMO. Only halfway through so far though.
