As the inverse to my answer for the 1999-2009 thread, which was 6/7, 1989-1998 would be about 3/4 (nothing from after 2009 is close).

They'd be-
Take The Time (probably #3)
Trial of Tears
Lines in the Sand
and Hollow Years might just squeeze in there.

Haha I did actually. I could've easily gone,  but I was a little mad that tickets were $14 more than last time, so I decided to boycott. Probably a bad decision. Plus the Phjlly show was apparently really good too. Oh well.

This would require me to actually compose a top 10 DT songs list. Something usually impossible for me.

But I know Metropolis, Learning to Live, Scarred, and A Change of Seasons are in there for sure. The rest is just hazy.

I just did it for these threads and I know what you mean by impossible. Top 20 maybe, but top 10 is pretty much impossible. Very difficult to weigh what's most important and cut the others. But I did the best I could and 5 from this era made the cut:

Metropolis Pt. 1 used to be #9, but Images and Words has just fallen off from my listening must-ahves the past two months. Album really really feels dated now whenever I listen to it, that the only reason I play the album is for nostalgia's sake.
