Round 6 Results:

Losing My Insanity - 4 (44,4%)
Cinderblox - 4 (44,4%)
Wildfire, Part: III - Wildfire Town, Population: 0 - 1 (11,1%)
______

Let's thank the person voted for Wildfire p. III.  :lol

Alright, as PC survivor is still going, I don't want to break the pace, so this tiebreaker will last for 48 hours instead of usual 24.

Losing My Insanity (with this tiebreaker)
This first band is Soen very cool swingy jazz fusion kinda stuff.

Not a tough call - Losing My Insanity is a stale cover song, while Cinderblox is a fun tune.

Any ideas who should we ask to break the tie? :)

Losing My Insanity got two votes in round 5, while Cinderblox got only one. Besides, as you mentioned in the first round, the official SA website doesn't even mention LMI in the album tracklist

I don't want to go this way, so I asked a fairly well-known person from DTF to break this tie for us. He's not familiar with SA work, by the way.

This is tough... I liked LMI better, but cover songs should never trump originals imo - even if it is Dio.  Cinderblox is a fun tune that's for sure.

My thought for tie breakers was always to look to previous rounds to see which song has had more votes against it.  So, combined with it being a cover, LMI gets the boots.

Thanks a lot!

Next time though, when there's no cover among two tied songs, don't look at previous rounds results. :)

Liked LMI better. Eliminated LMI.   Great.......

Should have had them both be eliminated like precedence dictates.

Well, the difference was marginal at best.  And if Cinderblox goes next, then that's essentially the case.  Not a big deal between a tie, and 4th/5th place finishes.  It's not like it's the difference between consolations or complete elimination.

Actually, that's exactly the difference, which is why I'm thinking that's why Evermind went through such great lengths to break the tie.
