Whoa, that's pretty bad. Whenever I see overlapping circles, the first thing I think of is Venn Diagrams, and I know I'm not the only one. It amazes me that that design made it from conception to execution without anyone figuring out what it really says about their company.

You guys really must make heavy use of Venn diagrams in highschool. I mean, they are known and we use them in Germany too (we don't use the name Venn though), but they're mostly just considered convenient visualizations, not these integral diagrams.

In the US, where I'm from at least, every single mofo would look at that and say the same thing about it being a Venn Diagram. Everyone.

That's pretty awesome. Even if it I had no idea what that particular diagram was, it still looks like they're distancing themselves from...the values; it still looks like they're saying in one bubble "these are good qualities!" and then there's another bubble that has "our values" place outside of it...."Well, these are our values, which are not Trust, Partnership, Innovation and Performance". I think almost anyone would look at that and think something similar. I don't know how you couldn't...what other way is there to look at it? Absolutely horrible marketing.

I say we kill 'em, take away their kids, raise those kids to adulthood, wait for them to have kids of their own, make those kids work in marketing, and then reveal the truth that the campaigns they've been working on are for nonexistent products.

I think we spent a while on them around 6th grade, but never really went back to them. They were heavily used in textbooks, though, if I remember correctly.
