I can do The Mars Volta, if anyone's interested. I went to see them live a couple of times, and they're my biggest bootleg collection (as well as being one of the few bands I own every album of)

I would follow the shit out of that.

Mars Volta would be cool too!

I dig The Mars Volta.  Proceed.

Orbert, take all the time you need, Queen would be awesome.

How do I do this, exactly? Do I just create a thread?

The prior Discography threads are linked to in the first post in this thread.  Skim through a few of them to see how different people have done it.  Then proceed likewise.

I'd follow a Queen thread so hard...
I just don't understand what they were trying to achieve with any part of the song, either individually or as a whole. You know what? It's the Platypus of Dream Theater songs. That bill doesn't go with that tail, or that strange little furry body, or those webbed feet, and oh god why does it have venomous spurs!? And then you find out it lays eggs too. The difference is that the Platypus is somehow functional despite being a crazy mishmash or leftover animal pieces

I'm sure Kotowboy has.

He likes surrounding emotes in other emotes.

I'd like to start an Anathema discography discussion. :) Looks like there are only two discography threads going on at the moment, so I'd be ready to start within the next couple of days, unless someone else wants to start their own thread first.

I'm gonna state right here, right now, that I'll start my Zappa discography thread after this new round has finished. I'll be close to having summer holiday then, and could work my way through the holiday for the first couple dozens of albums or so, and next (school) year is looking to be way less busy, so I'd actually have time to continue the thread.

Can never keep up with this board. Has anyone done any of Porcupine Tree, Death, Opeth, Metallica, King Crimson, Dire Straits, Mark Knopfler, Gentle Giant or Van Der Graaf Generator?
