Upload a DVD bootleg to Youtube

I want to upload a DT DVD-bootleg to YT but I dont know what program I should use to record it from VLC. Anyone know what program I can use? I googled it but haven't found any good.

I'm not sure, but I think you need to have a musician account to upload vids longer than 10 minutes.
I tried to upload my two 11 and 20 minutes vids from the Gelsenkirchen show, but I didn't get it done..

Okey, yeah I've heard of that too Lutima, but thanks for the head up anyway . I will probably split the songs to 9:59 or something, if I cant figure out how to get a musician account or whatever its called.

EDIT: I have changed my account now to a musician account, I hope it works!

You could always just upload it somewhere else for people to download and watch in full quality

Haha yeah! Thats right to Arrich, but I want to upload it to the folks too!  ;DI just checked if you can upload videos longer then ten minutes to YT and this what I got:

You can no longer upload videos longer than ten minutes, no matter of which account type you have.

   but I continue my search after a program that can split videos.
