Prog/Metal Vocal Showdown #10: Novak vs Renske

Not sure how well known Novak is (Mind's Eye), so this could be a blood bath (pun totally intended).  Still, I love Mind's Eye (thanks goes to Nem for the introduction).  He's got a smooth voice with tremendous range.  I don't know a lot of Katatonia or Bloodbath, so I'm gonna naturally throw my vote to Novak so he's doesn't get shut out.

I initially went "who?", but then realised i do like Mind's Eye. Never heard of the other guy so I guess it's Novak by default.

What I've heard from Mind's Eye was pretty good, but I like Katatonia more.

I'm abstaining from voting since I'm only familiar with Renske.  That said, that bit from Ayreon that was posted earlier blew me away.  Now I know I need to check out the Ayreon project.  Thanks jingle.boy

Jonas is one of my all-time favorite singers, so I have no choice but to vote for him.

I checked out the links and another 3 Katatonia tunes (all of which sounded like the same melancholy monotone) and decided that Novak is much more my kind of singer.  I haven't voted though as that's still not a very great sample size.   Neither band seem to be much my style but Minds Eye were close enough and going to get some follow up.
