Shot in the dark, but worth a try

Hey guys, I'm kind of desperate, the Metal Alliance Tour is coming to Orlando today, but I don't have a ride to and from the show, and there's no way I'm shelling out $80+ for a cab to take me to and from a venue 8 miles away, so I was wondering if there were any members here from the Orlando area or surrounding area who were considering going, and if they might be radular enough to give me a lift. I would totally throw down some money for gas, or food, or drinks at the show.

Anywho just a desperate dork using all of his options.  :yarr

No way I'm walking back 8 miles, in Orlando, around 11pm. The neighborhood I live in isn't bad by any means, but there's been a rise in muggings and full sail students getting their shit jacked.

If it's a nice day you could walk. Listen to music and take regular breaks and it won't be so bad.

You'd have to walk home again though but it'd be worth it :p

Well it's now storming, but I might have found a ride if I can scratch together another $10 to pay for a friend's ticket, which I wouldn't mind, seeing $50 spent is still much less than $100+.
The search begins.

Minutes later...

It took finding an old christmas card with a $2 bill, and quarters, lots of quarters...BUT I can swing another ticket.

lol, reminds me of when I was plotting to get to the Boston DT show before I had my dad's approval.
