Yeah, I don't think any of that is right.
Only King could mis-spell a LETTER.
Yep. I think the only party in the MP/DT situation that hasn't moved on is DTF.

Besides, it implies that something like 80% of people voting are between 30-35. That seems somewhat unreasonable.

Not entirely sure how you came to those conclusions.
This. If anything, Awake is one of the least flashy/technical albums, and the 35+ years old fans would probably pick an older album than BC&SL or DT12.

Just joking around, even though there is a little reasonability in that hunch.

For me it's a toss-up between SFAM and SDOIT.  I voted SFAM though because The Spirit Carries On guitar solo!

Very technical guitar players of this Forum are picking: Awake and Six Degrees.
Not so very technical but heart-guitar players of this Forum are picking: Images and Scenes From a Memory.
Fans over 35 are picking: Black Clouds and Dream Theater.
Fans under 30 are picking: Train of Thought.

 :lol

I don't play Guitar and I went with Awake
I just don't understand what they were trying to achieve with any part of the song, either individually or as a whole. You know what? It's the Platypus of Dream Theater songs. That bill doesn't go with that tail, or that strange little furry body, or those webbed feet, and oh god why does it have venomous spurs!? And then you find out it lays eggs too. The difference is that the Platypus is somehow functional despite being a crazy mishmash or leftover animal pieces

This is hard. Under A Glass Moon exists, but so does The Mirror, but so does Illumination Theory, as does Bridges In the Sky, amongst many other tracks that also exist.  :sadpanda:
