I was just listening to this on the radio and it hit me...I can understand like 5 words of what Eddie's saying.  Never looked at the lyrics, all this time I've not paid attention to the vocals.  Love the song though.

Blur made a song with unintelligible lyrics called Music Is My Radar.  The title is one of the only lyrics in the song that can be understood.  It's a silly jam session, and they made it a single!  Meanwhile, the epic Black Book that has actual lyrics and heart and soul was pushed onto its b-side.  Dumb decision IMO.
