Wildstringdom in Guitar World
« on: February 22, 2014, 10:29:50 PM »

I picked up a copy of Guitar World to read about Van Halen's 1984. Anyway I noticed JP has a new column "Wild Stringdom". Are they reprints that he originally did or are they something new?

I don't have my book to check  cos I've loaned it to a mate.

The following article is taken from John Petrucci's classic "Wild Stringdom" column in Guitar World

So yeah, reprints. I would also think we would have heard something if he had a new column.

On a somewhat related note, his second solo album seems to follow the same schedule as the first one :lol

As above stated, Wild Stringdom for current GW issues is new. You can find the companion videos on the website.

These are new columns, but with the same title as his previous columns in GW.  I think this run started with the issues that had him on the cover with the Game of Thrones themed guitar throne.
