Since I got a copy of Scenes From a Memory from my local library in 2002.

(Can't believe I didn't see them live until 2011).  :facepalm:

I've been a fan since right after 8VM came out. Between July - September 2005. A friend burned me Images and Words, Train of Thought and loaned me Live at Budokan. Joined the forums right after that in like November 05.

Two and a half years now. I still remember Spiffy McNips recommended them to me on Y!A when I asked for bands to listen to. Listened to them, liked what I heard, and asked for ADTOE for my 13th birthday.

(Yeah, Yahoo Answers...  *gags*)

I've been a fan since I was born in 1996.
Well, maybe I wasn't a fan immediately,
but my father has been a fan since 1994 so I've been listening to Dream Theater since I was born.
