Yeah....it's VERY easy to heavily dislike....some would say..'hate'....the Dodgers.....VERY easy. I tried like heck to develop a distaste for the Giants but I just can't. They are a great team with classy players...period...paragraph...end. It'll be interesting to see if they can keep that core together to continue to win? That's one of the great things about being a Cards fan....doesn't matter who's on the team....it's a good chance they'll be playing October baseball. I don't know if that's the same for SF if Sandobol and a couple other of the players up for free agency head out.

I like the Giants. In my heart of hearts, I was definitely pulling for the Royals, but against any other team, I would have likely been pulling for the Giants.
What an unlikely group of players to be a part of a dynasty.

Bruce Bochy is in rare company. Only 5 managers in the hirosty of MLB have more than 3 WS championships (Stengel, Mack, Alston, Torre, and McCarthy).

He seems like such a great guy. He's clearly a great Manager (made Matheny look like a toddler) Any interview I've ever watched him in he's been classy and every interview I've read where he comments he's classy. You can't be upset about his teams winning at all.

The tragic death of Taveres gets even more sad......his Blood Alcohol Level was FIVE times the legal limit!!! So freakin' sad......I'm avoiding the soap box about drinking and driving considering I've probably done it 1000x back when I drank, especially when I was his age. Just horrible.....
