Here we go with Transatlantic's sophomore effort. Just so we all know, YES - the third place song will go to consolation, so whichever song is voted out this round will not advance at all. The top two (and highly predictable) songs will go to the finals.

Indeed. I did not expect it to be this close of a race and yet, with 24 votes, here we are. The top number of voters so far has been 26, so we're looking for two more voters before tomorrow (at least), and perhaps they will decide which of these songs will be out this round!

Good question. A tie-breaker WOULD be needed considering this round decides which song advances to the Consolation-deciding round. I guess I will hope that there will be a decisive conclusion to this by the close of the poll.

In the event of a tie-breaker, a ONE-DAY ROUND will be done to decide the tie-break. Everyone will get a chance to vote again, and if anyone misses that window, then it just means one song will move on past the other, so I hope everyone is paying attention! :tup

In my opinion... if there's a tie... they both should be eliminated and they both should make the consolation. The only way that I would do a tiebreaker is if someone voted for one of the other songs, as their changed vote would be the difference maker.

I'm a little surprised at how close the results are.

Bridge Across Forever for me. But I love it as a TA ballad. Goes to show how great the album itself is.
