You need to check Celestial Entrance man, amazing album.

Hmm.. I haven't caught the Pagan's Mind bug yet. I bought Heavenly Ecstasy and listened to it once.
would have thought the same thing but seeing the OP was TAC i immediately thought Maiden or DT related
Winger Theater Forums........or WTF.  ;D
TAC got a higher score than me in the electronic round? Honestly, can I just drop out now? :lol

Since its included entirely on the concert I may just wait until I get the blu-ray and therefore I can listen/watch it first before getting the album on its own.

That one was a real grower, try Celestial Entrance or Enigmatic: Calling.  Enigmatic: Calling would actually be a much safer option I think.

Makes sense.

I eventually came to the conclusion that Chronicles 1 is VP's best album, so this is gonna be damn good.

Not to mention bloody expensive.
With the AU dollar so low and I found out last week that CD (distributor/wholesale) prices have gone up too.

No I meant local prices here in AU.
The guy I know at Utopia was telling me why those 2CD sets with 'bonus' discs are around the $40.
The low dollar and increase in wholesale price to them, to which they pass on to the customer.

With that the CD Japan prices are pretty reasonable, knowing that they in most cases limited pressings and the exclusive bonus tracks.

That blows.  I noticed some of their prices seemed a bit high online for 2CD's and CD/DVD's on some artists, explains why.

Did prices crash when the AUD was at 1.00-$1.10 $USD? (around 50% higher than now)

Was looking at the Pagan's Mind Blu-Ray to purchase

https://www.amazon.com/Full-Circle-Blu-ray-Pagans-Mind/dp/B012WUHAC6/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1443011019&sr=8-2&keywords=pagans+mind

This is saying its a region B/2 Blu-ray and won't play in North America.  I didn't realize there were region codes for blu-rays... can anyone confirm this?  That will be a real downer if this won't be able to play on my blu-ray players (I have a couple stand alone players and then also my xbox one and my PC has a blu-ray drive).

There most definitely are region codes for BR discs.
Even though my Samsung player is a multizone, it will play all region DVD and most BR it does not play USA (region A) BR discs.

I wouldn't read too much into that region code yet.  This is a fairly new listing on Amazon I'm assuming since the blu ray isn't going to be released until mid-October.  Amazon is notorious for having incorrect product info on videos like this.

They had the same region listed on the US version of Breaking the Fourth Wall even after it had been out for several months.
Winger would be better!

Cool, thanks for sharing.  I've bought Blu-Rays from Europe before and have not had issues (Epica and Avantasia), but I think those were region free so this is my first experience with seeing that.  I hope you are right and amazon will fix it or there will be an option for region A.

I didn't know what Chad saw in it either at first, but I kept going back to it and it paid off.  It's a huge grower and their best album IMO.  Gonna listen to it again tonight I think.

That new song is perfect, great continuation, love it.  Great solos too.

Pretty certain he does.  It was an attempt to give him a little shit and poke some fun about accepting songs from albums he "doesn't know" from bands he does know.

I bought my first Vanden Plas album 20 years ago, long before any of you stirrers knew what was up  ;D   That debut also made my DTF top 50.

And anyway Chad - I'm a bit pissed off that you travelled all the way out to Australia to compete on The Bachelorette and didn't drop in to say "Hi".   This just popped up on the missus' iPad  :neverusethis:  I hear Chad tried to impress her with the traditional DTF "bird" and was eliminated.
