20th ACOS anniversary and 10th 8vm anniversary….

False Awakening Suite
The Enemy Inside
The Shattered Fortress
On the Backs of Angels
Behind the Veil
Blind Faith
Enigma Machine (with drum solo)
Along for the Ride
The Bigger Picture

-----------------------

A Change of Seasons (20 year)
Illumination Theory
Encore:
Octavarium (10 year)

Actually I think I'm short on time  :lol
If I saw this concert my body would probably be subsequently incapable of producing dopamine or serotonin. Especially if you slipped Wait For Sleep/Learning to Live somewhere in there.

Make TSF TGP and switch AFTR to StR and that is the most perfect DT12 centered setlist I could possibly imagine. I mean I could NEVER expect them to play it, but 3 epics in a row would be ridiculous and awesome.

Well we do have a few minutes left..

Yes on the first one.. And yes on the second only because I just saw TSF.. Otherwise it'd be a tie for those two, the tie breaker being that TSF has never been played before.. except now it has.. if that made any sense  :lol

Considering the fact that i have already seen them twice this tour, yes i would like them to switch up a couple of songs. I really like this setlist but then it'll be the 3rd time i'm seeing the exact same show.

So, i'm hoping for this:

-False Awakening Suite-
The Enemy Inside
The Shattered Fortress/Glass Prison
-JLB-
Raise the Knife (Would be really cool!)
The Looking Glass
Enigma Machine
Endless Sacrifice
Along For The Ride (i hope they will drop this, i don't like the song that much but  cutting it out of the setlist would make no sense considering it's the Along For The Ride tour)
The Great Debate (PLEASE!!)
-Intermission-
Only A Matter of Time (This song was also in the original setlist but they dropped it since it didnt fit in)
The Ones Who Help To Set The Sun
-JLB- talking about the WDADU 25th anniversary
The Ytse Jam
The Killing Hand
Through My Words
Fatal Tragedy
Home
-Encore-
Illumination Theory
- Encore 2-
...wait for it..

...wait for it...

A Change of Seasons

where do i have to sign? ;D

Yea we should make a set with 8vm, ACOS, IT, TGP, and some others and try to get as many signatures as we possibly can and petition DT into doing it  :lol

-False Awakening Suite-
The Enemy Inside
The Shattered Fortress/ The Glass Prison
-JLB-
Raise the Knife/ Another Won/ some other obscure track a lot of DTFers like
Blind Faith
Enigma Machine
Along For the Ride
Octavarium

-Intermission-

Only A Matter of Time
The Ones Who Help To Set The Sun
-JLB- talking about the WDADU 25th anniversary
Light Fuse and Get Away
The Killing Hand
Surrender to Reason
Illumination Theory
- Encore -
...wait for it..

Wow, WDADU anniversary featuring the two worst songs of that album, which are also two of the worst songs they have ever put out  ;) :lol

Thanks for the facts!

As much as I love The Ones..., I don't think they'll ever play it or LFAGA again, let alone play more than one WDADU song in a single show.

Still undecided on whether to go for Sheffield. On the one hand they MUST play a new set (or at least an amended one)? Yet I still think about the work for the lighting and videos that mustve gone in to the current one and think "Would they bother doing all that work?"

Then again as far as I'm aware this 2nd Euro leg is mostly a festival tour so maybe they dont NEED all the lighting and stuff.

Anyway I'm sure Blob will be called up if they are doing new songs to create videos for them. Perhaps he is the guy to ask!

I'd say go. I don't think they'll change too much - songs like Shattered Fortress, Trial of Tears and some of the Awake stuff may get cycled out for other "festival friendly" songs, but the bulk of the set will probably remain the same. Even if the set is identical, it's still worth seeing twice.

The Sheffield gig isn't 'An Evening With' - there's a support band. The tickets are £20 less in price than the Along for the Ride tour, which suggests a cut-down production, and a shorter heavier festival-type set.

I don't think that they'll change their setlist because John Petrucci said that this will be the setlist for the whole Along For The Ride Tour, but I really hope that they'll change it because I saw them in Amsterdam on February 17 and gonna see them again in Tilburg on July 16...
It would be awesome if they play The Glass Prison..

It's almost certainly An Evening With. The support band listed on the tickets is most likely an assumption.

...Whuh??

I paid about £30.00 for Wolves and about £30.00 for Sheffield! "Special guests TBC" on the ticket usually just means the venue doesn't know.

Lol I paid about £50.00 for Amsterdam and £165 for meet and greet + concert in Tilburg...

I've pretty much decided to not see them a second time in July. I'd love to, but I don't think I can really afford it :'(

The show is being advertised as "An Evening with..." so I'm believing that.  The recent Transatlantic shows said "plus support" on the tickets, and they weren't, so promotors know nothing.

It's just a general assumption that there will be a support act ..
Emilie Autumn has always had this problem in the UK .. she was horrified when i pointed it out to her

Can't wait for the Sheffield gig!!

Gosh this thread is long. I don't know if my setlist will match with anyone's, but I'll try it. Also, in case it hasn't been said, they already confirmed the setlist would be different on places they've already gone to, but not on places they are visiting for the first time on the tour. Ok, here goes nothing:

False Awakening Suite
The Enemy Inside
The Glass Prison
(JLB's Jibba-Jibba here  :lol)
The Looking Glass
Lines in the Sand (I don't really want them to change ToT, but it's possible it'll happen and LitS is still great)
Enigma Machine
Along For The Ride
The Bigger Picture

Pull Me Under/On The Backs of Angels
Only A Matter of Time
Behing The Veil
Blind Faith
Vacant+Stream of Consciousness
Illumination Theory

Lifting Shadows off a Dream
A Change of Seasons

Something that worries me is that there's a bunch of songs MM doesn't know yet on this setlist and he'd have to learn them, but I think it's built pretty well.
