You did ... Which could either be an advantage or disadvantage. If you're doing well, perhaps you should switch to euros?  You might end up winning on conversion alone!   :lol

Worth considering. £s are doing nicely against the dollar again. Bought my Ibanez Jem from the US last time things were good.

I used the example of Journey earlier (which, ironically I would now consider off limits - I bought 7 of their albums over the holidays to 'catch up').
Which 7? Not planning on sending you Journey, just curious.

Infinity, Evolution, Departure, Escape, Frontiers, Trial By Fire, Revelation, Eclipse.

Eight... I mis-counted.

Almost all of the good ones in there. You'll definitely want Arrival too, once you're through all of those.

That confident huh? lol. Would you have wagered that on the Ashes before a ball was bowled? And look how that turned out... hangs head (and the batting line-up) in shame.

I'll try to send mine later today. I'm still not sure what I'm sending though. I could send you one of my all time favorite songs but it's a longer one, and you don't have this band in your last.fm list so I'm definitely not going to wager too much. I still have bills to pay.

Sadly enough, I only ever had the Greatest Hits package from the late 80s, then got away from Melodic Rock as a whole in the 90s/early 00s.  Didn't come back to the genre too much until a couple of years ago.

Trying to.  But I gots Roulette listening to do, as well as getting primed for ProgNation at Sea, so I'm trying to immerse myself in that lineup for the next 6 weeks - at least, for the bands that I'm interested in.

When you've exhausted those you need Arrival. Best Journey album for me. All the others are half filler except RoR which is pretty much all soft pop filler crap.

Arrival probably isn't my absolute favourite Journey album, but it is one of my favourites and it is easily their most consistent album. Consistently great and not consistently shit, aswell.

Yeah.... but.... it's got Steve Augeri on the mic!?!?  I have the Journey 2001 DVD, and man, that was painful the watch.  Not so much the performances, but Steve trying to be more Perry than Augeri; the crowd acting and looking like a bunch of '80s teenagers, when they were '00 adults.  It was comical, and I just have trouble taking that lineup seriously.

Take Frontiers , drop a couple of the turds - like Back Talk - off and replace with the songs that were (stupidly) set aside for movie soundtracks at the time  (Ask The Lonely, Only The Young) and that's my favourite Journey listen.   I also rate Arrival reasonably high but it's a few (soft) tracks too long for my taste and it also depends which version you have - I'd definitely want To Be Alive again which isn't on one of the versions I have.
