And then right after, the most disturbing section in any Dream Theater song piece of music ever.

More disturbing than this lovely number?

Why... Would anyone write that song? Where is the satisfaction? What is the point? Dear God.

Somehow I knew that would be Slug Bait. :lol
"All great works are prepared in the desert, including the redemption of the world. The precursors, the followers, the Master Himself, all obeyed or have to obey one and the same law. Prophets, apostles, preachers, martyrs, pioneers of knowledge, inspired artists in every art, ordinary men and the Man-God, all pay tribute to loneliness, to the life of silence, to the night." - A. We all know that from Steven Wilson, right?

...Oops! Look at the time! I kept you too long! Thanks for hearing me out! I want you to have this!

Gave me a good laugh, thank you  :lol

Also, I remember that very interview when SW mentioned Slug Bait... Gave it one listen, and never ever again...

OT: There are way too many good parts to SDIOT, but my highlights would have to be:

The Glass Prison

Keyboard/Guitar unison in Blind Faith

2:20 - 3:00 of Misunderstood.

0:00 - 2:52 of The Great Debate. Chorus of the Great Debate, 9:22 - 13:40 of The Great Debate.

Disappear verses, Disappear ending

And I bet I never will...

Blind Faith and TGD have some great musical moments in them. The drumming is energetic and upbeat throughout the album, which is a big plus for me.

Also you made me watch the whole thing now. Damn xD

I love the ending of The Glass Prison.
Winner.

I love the ending of The Glass Prison.
Winner.

I really don't care for it. I've always felt it to be a bit rushed and even a bit forced. The rest of the song is  :tup

That's what I was wondering.  Title song or entire album?
