Well, the most accessible of his BLS albums is "The Blessed Hellride." It also has Ozzy on vocals on one song. You could start with that one. I also love a lot of Zakk's more mellow stuff -- "Hangover Music" by BLS is more in this vein, and his more Southern rock side project "Pride & Glory" also is worth checking out.

Ok - thanks. I already have Pride and Glory and Book of Shadows (both bought at time of release) etc.......... it's more the BLS stuff I haven't bothered with.

If you dig all of that and want to go deeper his earlier stuff is more raw and my favorite of those is 1919 Eternal.

I hear ya... I Grooveshark'd their discography a year or so ago, but that's it. Should probably give them another go at some point.

Not sure how I'd classify them. Hard Rock with progressive tendencies. Wiki calls them prog rock/prog metal. I'd say they're more rock than prog though. I'd say Cheat the Gallows is their best album.
