Shouldn't it be Sprite VS 7UP or Sierra Mist?

Maybe, but Mountain Dew should be in the event somewhere. Close enough!

And 7UP got injured and bitched out.

As far as I know, 7-Up and Dr. Pepper are both owned by a company not affiliated with Coke or Pepsi but just have distribution deals with both depending on whatever sales territory you happen to be in. I'd use Sierra Mist before Mountain Dew though since it's far more of a match to Sprite's flavor.

That said, I voted for Mug, Gatorade, and Coke. I didn't vote for either water because I never drink single-serve bottled water because the plastic they use for those bottles makes the water taste like absolute shit. One small perk of being a Louisianian is that we have Kentwood water (yep, home of Britney Spears) and the kind they make in a 1-gallon jug tastes ridiculously better than the deer urine made by big water companies. I also didn't vote in the citrus category because Sprite tastes overtly chemical to me and the Dew don't do it for me. Code Red ain't bad though. I just fucking miss Surge since it was orgasmic.

Mug was barely my choice but not because of Barq's contending but rather that I don't much care for either since they're both paltry. A&W and IBC are fucking awesome though and Virgil's is nice when you have $6 to waste on a measly 4-pack.

All right, I've got my picks in.  The only really tough one was between Dasani and Aquafina, but the rest was pretty obvious, in my eyes.

I am a Coke guy all the way.  Pepsi, though I can drink it, is to sweet and less refreshing to me.

Yep. Pepsi will do but it tastes a lot more sweet and sickly. I've never found a soft drink that I like the taste of more than coca cola.

Exactly.  I remember as a 20 something that Disney in the Epcot section had a "Coke" around the world.  It was soft drinks from different continents and it was really cool to sample what other people liked from across the world.

Although sometimes you buy a coke from a foreign shop and it's the weird coke that doesn't taste right.

Apart from water - Coca Cola is easily my favourite thing to have freezing cold on a hot day,

Aquafina
Barq's
Gatorade
Pepsi

I'm not voting in Sprite vs. Mountain Dew because that's a fake matchup.  It should be Sprite vs. 7 Up or Mountain Dew vs. Mello Yello.

My dad loves to buy the Mexican coke here in America.  It's made the way he grew up which was with real sugar not the sucrose they use today.

I can't taste much difference between 7up and Sprite but can easily tell pepsi from coke.

I've never tried mountain dew or gatorade but I imagine they taste like Lucozade...

And so called Energy Drinks like Red Bull or Monster just taste foul and smell worse.

Plus they just remind me of the pikey twats who used to rock up to the studio demanding that we record them MC-ing.

:lol They absolutely reeked of Red bull.

The only reason I got Mountain Dew in there is because I always thought it was more popular than 7UP, and I was trying to get the big names in there. I know it tastes different from sprite, but if one were to have a gun to your head and you had to choose, well you better pick.

I didn't vote for anything because:
1. I hate bottled water
2. I don't like root beer
3. Don't like sprite or mountain dew
4. Coke and pepsi taste pretty much the same to me (but I do like them in case you were wondering).
The only thing I really coulve voted for is Gatorade over powerade

Needs DIET COKE vs. DIET PEPSI and PEPSI MAX vs COKE ZERO
I just don't understand what they were trying to achieve with any part of the song, either individually or as a whole. You know what? It's the Platypus of Dream Theater songs. That bill doesn't go with that tail, or that strange little furry body, or those webbed feet, and oh god why does it have venomous spurs!? And then you find out it lays eggs too. The difference is that the Platypus is somehow functional despite being a crazy mishmash or leftover animal pieces

Coke Zero
Diet Pepsi
Pepsi Max
Diet Coke.

Diet Coke has a really bad aftertaste. Coke Zero tastes like normal coke that's been watered down & there's not much between Diet Pepsi/Max.

Coke Zero
Diet Pepsi
Diet Coke

I love love love Pepsi Max.... Love Coke Zero... don't mind Diet Pepsi... and can tolerate Diet Coke. The biggest plus with Diet Coke is the higher caffeine content vs Coke Zero

1. They're both water. Seriously, WTF?
2. I like Barqs. No idea about Mug.
3. Both are bad for me.
4. I don't do energy drinks. Sprite.
5. Since Coke or Pepsi are now considered medicinal treatment for me, I've learned that Coke Zero beats the hell out of Pepsi Max.

Water: Don't care. Picked Dasani just because.
Barq's over Mug. Tastes better.
Gatorade over Powerade by a country mile.
Mountain Dew over Sprite, but if Sierra Mist took its place, Sprite would win.
Interestingly, I used to be a Pepsi supporter, but I think I like Coke more actually now. Coke Zero is way better than Pepsi Max.
