Yeah this is moving soo slow. Obviously not necissarily Lielow's fault, but it's hard to keep a lot of interest when it's difficult to remember what songs I've sent so far

I actually remember what I sent this time. :lol

Anyway, I don't really have that much of an issue with the pace, it's just that I'm bored right now. :p

I think I stand a fairly good chance. I sent pretty much the brightest, happiest song I know.

Which maybe isn't saying a lot, as I generally listen to either angry or downbeat music, but whatever. :P

My definition of bright is different. The lyrics certainly weren't blazingly happy in my song.

The lyrics in mine are really ambiguous actually

step right up and take the ride
east of easy...

I forget the rest.

So yeah sorry about that. My other laptop also stopped working, but now my good one is back so I can do this. :lol

Shadow Ninja 2.0: Jonsi - Go Do
Yeah I think I've heard this in a commercial before. I think maybe the full song too but I'm not sure. So since I can't recall I can let this pass. :lol It's not exactly Sigur Ros calibre, but that's not expected since Sigur Ros is one of my favourite bands. This song was pretty fun. A lot more fast-paced and poppy than SR. And most certainly bright. As for quality I enjoyed it a fair bit. Good one.

7.5/10

Lucien: Frost* - Toys
Frost* is a band I'm sorta familiar with. I know their album Milliontown and think it's okay but not great. This song is pretty different from that I find. Reminds me of Fair to Midland even. And since I love Fair to Midland that's a good thing. The song was upbeat, incredibly catchy,  and was overall awesome. Nice one.

9/10

adace: The Daysleepers - Release the Kraken
This song was very hypnotic productionwise. Which I guess makes sense in shoegaze, but strangely enough while they are considered shoegaze I didn't get the same feel. Which honestly in modern shoegaze is a very welcome thing as many bands sound similar. And it did have a nice dream poppy brightness so you got that covered. Neato fresh. I'll listen to your other two things later. ;)

9/10

senecadawg2: David Gray - Shine
I downloaded an album by this guy soon before my laptop crashed actually, so I lost that. But oh well I can get it back. I loves me some good folk and this was no exception. The lyrics were really good and his vocals were nice as well. I should definitely redownload that album. :)

8.5/10

Tyrias: Biffy Clyro - The Joke's On Us
Yum another very British vocalist. :lol I've had this album downloaded for quite a while but never listened to it. Shows I have way too much to keep track of. :lol It was a right good tune. A real head bobber I suppose. Me likey.

8.5/10

Dark Castle: Man Man - Head On (Hold On To Your Heart)
Damn how come I haven't heard of these guys. This was awesome. :D The chorus was incredibly catchy, the instrumentation was nice, and I enjoyed every bit of this. Definitely repeated immediately after the first listen. :lol I'm definitely getting something by these guys. Amazing choice mang! You get the second 10 of the game.

10/10

elefantStone: Of Machines - It Must Belong Somewhere
Jesus christ that clean vocalist hurt my vocal cords just listening to him. He wails like crazy. :lol High pitched and just belted. Nothing wrong with that of course. Anyways this isn't typically my kind of metal but I actually enjoyed this. It was instrumentally and vocally more interesting than similar bands. So despite not being my thing it still worked.

7.5/10

Outcrier: The Evpatoria Report - Prognoz
Ouu a 14 minute track. Ballsy send there. This is another band I'm familiar with but both haven't listened to enough and it has been so long that I let this slide. Anyway, hard to go wrong with post-rock. A genre I love tons. The Evpatoria Report follows many of the conventions without sounding too conventional if that makes sense. Not sure how to describe that. :lol But I liked this a lot. Different getting such a long song in a roulette but good choice!

8.5/10

Lolzeez: The Moody Blues - Another Morning ღ A Childs World, After All
I haven't heard this band in forever. :lol I remember the Disney-ish orchestral sort of arrangements. It works with the music, and isn't something usually used in rock. The non orchestral parts I prefer though. Catchy vocals and nice harmonies. This is often called the first prog album but I've listened to it so little and so long ago I should be ashamed, ha. Good one though.

8/10

Rankings:
Dark Castle - 61
senecadawg2 - 61
Outcrier - 60.5
Tyrias - 60.5
Shadow Ninja 2.0 - 60
elefantStone - 59.5
Lolzeez - 59.5
adace - 58.5
Lucien - 56.5

ROUND 7: Lucky number 7. I think this will be the final round since I've probably overstayed my welcome at this point and 7 is a good number of rounds anyway. :lol I'm actually going to think a bit on how this round will work though. :) Will return.
