Man, almost feels weird singing this while I'm NOT in the shower.

I tried in the original octave and it didn't work out.
Then, I tried in a more comfortable range and that didn't work out.
So I combined both to make this monstrosity. Enjoy! :neverusethis:

Also, posting after two persons who can actually sing is sooo unfair  :lol

My voice does not go this high, but I tried singing this high anyway.

Alright time for me to choose I think!

First off, honorable mentions go to CDrice for a super amusing entry. You nearly won from entertainment value alone :metal
And also to Zyzzyva17 for basically nailing the final note

As for the winner, it was incredibly close between Ad134 and TheGreatPretender

TheGreatPretender - you remind me of Charlie Dominici, but better. Really enjoyed your submission

Victory goes to Ad134 however, for delivery. Cogratulations! can't wait for the next line!

Okay, how about an oldie...

Once again we dance in the crowd
At times a step away
From a common fear that's all spread out
Won't listen to what you say
Once you're touched you stand alone
To face the bitter fight
Once I reached for love, and now I reach for life

Alright, I've decided to join in. This is the first time anyone hears me try to soo sing for real since I was 12 or so, hope it's not too bad!  :lol

Also that was wayyy out of my range probably so I'll sing lower next time.

Pitch-wise, it was a toss-up between IdoSC and shredd... You both had pretty much dead-on pitch, which is really really difficult to do in that range. Props to the both of you
Power-wise, it was between TheGreatPretender and shredd... It sounded like you both put everything you had into every note!

The overlap between those two is shredd, who I declare the winner! Go ahead and pick the next line :)

Thanks for the win and for a great round!
The next line will be more recent... The Road To Revolution from The Astonishing

Arhys' time is running out
What will your decision be?
If you still have any doubt
Think about Evangeline

On the road to revolution
Our salvation's never free
There's a price for liberation
When you stand for your beliefs

When the man in the mirror
Takes a long, hard look at me
Will the person staring back
Be the man I want to be

Here I'm looking for your best Daryus and Ahrys impressions, as well as a smooth transition between the two

This time I tried it without the track playing in the background. Also tried to put a bit more power into it, don't think it's a huge improvement tho :P

Haha, I tried to go full Mustaine on mine but after one or two takes my throat was begging for mercy so I had to tooooone it down a little.

So many great entries again, but I have to give it to CDrice

I knew that my superior vocal skills would eventually give me a win :neverusethis:

Anyway, I had already thought of a few linesin case that by some strange planetery alignement I was ever going to win. One of them got requested earlier by ToT-147, so I'll go with it.

Three Days
He'll surrender on his own
If not there'll be hell to pay.
I'll tear down the city stone by stone
You only have three days

AHAHAH! AH AHAHahahahah! AHAHAH AHAHAAAAAH!

That should be interesting

I decided that JLB's portrayal of Nafaryus wasn't nearly camp or British enough.

Let's see if inspiration and motivation strike this weekend.
