I always thought the glass with the wires through it was bullet proof? At least that what a professor at WCSU told me.
Not necessarily, no. The wire makes it
shatter proof--i.e., if something smashes into it, it cracks and breaks, but you don't get huge shards of glass flying everywhere. That wouldn't stop a bullet from going
throught it. Also, "bullet proof" glass has its limits. How bullet proof it is is dependent on its rating, and is no guarantee that it will stop certain types of rounds fired by certain types of guns. I don't know the specifics, but am just saying that "bullet proof" doesn't necessarily mean you are 100% safe.
