Well I would imagine that I missed several, since I whipped it up in about five minutes time. I'll probably end up with the top 200. My problem is, I just looked through my iTunes folders, and a lot of my music from my old computer didn't copy over, so… I also was trying to limit myself I don't want to put every single rush album on there, how are every single Genesis album or every single dream theater album...

50 was easy. It was just a matter of deciding what makes it into positions 35-50 and what 20 or so albums didn't quite make the cut.

i had around 80 albums that got onto my rankings list when i first went through my library. did honorable mentions for a good number of the ones that didn't make my list.

you can start any kind of thread you want (so long as you don't violate DTF rules). I just wouldn't add anything to the database I am keeping unless it were your official top 50 albums list.

900th post. I said to myself if I make it to 900 here, I would throw my hat to the ring in this sort of thing. Well, I want to do a Top 50 albums thread.

Ideally, I want to start the thread on my 1000th post. I don't know how long that would take me to get to 1,000. Maybe a few months or so. However, I might as well put myself in the queue, right now. So, where do I sign up?

i'm not going to do a "top 50 albums" thing but probably in february or march i'm gonna rank every album i got this year since i have more than enough of them and the overwhelming majority have been good albums

I'm planning on doing something at the end of the february (after final exams). I said I'll make one last summer but I thought it suck because it's not very diverse. But it's my list, I can put anything I want on it, right

there used to be limit of one list at the time but I guess then there were more people.

it's a kind-of top 50 in the sense that i'm ranking the albums i got last year from worst to best, actually

there's only like a 2 album overlap with my previous top 50 list there.

also i dunno how many i'll do. the final count is like, a little short of 70. i might do a top 25, a top 50, or just all of them.
