Yeah, I can't find leitmotif for a decent price. I'll spend 30 bucks for it, I'd just like to find it cheaper. Where did you get it?

I don't like having live albums or demos on my library for the same reason, except I don't shuffle.

I bought it in a record shop a couple years ago, around the time I got into dredg. That was, I think, right after El Cielo came out. It used to be pretty common even in Best Buys and stuff when Catch came out, but I haven't seen it in stores for awhile. I'm pretty sure they were selling it on tour Wednesday, but I'm not positive.

Probably Barenaked Ladies and Slipknot. Maybe not Slipknot hands down, but I'm definately up there.

Hurt (possibly, although Arcaeus might have me here)

IT'S ON

They are definitely among my top five favorite bands, I've seen them twice, own every studio and live CD that exists of theirs (a few signed), have met them twice and have voice mail messages from every band member on my phone, and have a few photos and a shirt signed by every member :tup

System of a Down

I think Lat and James would both give you a run for your money.

I wont even TRY challenging Sonatafanica on Sonata Arctica (even though they're one of my favourite bands), so I'll say:

Nightwish  :metal

and
Buckethead   :metal

Challenges are accepted and expected  ;D
Surely one day they'll work out it would be simpler and far more legal just to suckle on each others' teats in a kind of wonderful 69 of eternal calcium goodness.

Probably The Beach Boys. I was a HUGE fan a couple of years ago, and they are still on my Top 5 list of all times.
Zydar is my new hero.  I just laughed so hard I nearly shat.

You think? :D

And yeah, I could list some small bands most of the forum probably won't even have heard of that I like but not really enough to claim myself a "big fan".

You and me go parallel, together and apart

There's a few guys who could chalenge me but I'ds say Rush. I've seen them 26 times in 12 venues. It would be a good fight between a few on this board.

Maybe I can claim the biggest fan title for The Offspring and Disturbed as well. Back in the day I knew the birthdays of all the members of The Offspring... :blush

Of course I don't listen to those two bands much anymore, but back then I was overly obsessed. Looking back, I can see why my friends were so annoyed. It's too bad The Offspring went down the tubes of suck though.

Challenged! The Offspring started me on guitar. I could play every single thing that they had recorded including b-sides such as that B-52's cover and whatnot. EVERYTHING.

Then they released the last 2 albums...
:lol

Ok, you win.  That's absurd, voicemail messages from every band member on your phone???  How insane is that...

I still stand by Ra and Shinedown, though.

Buckethead challenged. Also, I'm definitely the biggest Megadeth fan.
Orion....that's the one with a bunch of power chords and boringly harsh vocals, isn't it?

You've been challenged for The Offspring. I love everything they've done, and I know some extremely useless facts about them.

OK, you automatically win this one since you love that atrocity Rise and Fall, Shit and Stains, although dare we compete in a trivia contest?

Well, I don't play any instruments, and all that useless knowledge I knew about them is gone now. Although it would be interesting to see if I could get any answers right that you may throw at me. I was unaware there were more Offspring fans here. I still do know alot of the lyrics.

Probably Barenaked Ladies

A NEW CHALLENGER APPEARS!

I'd also throw down on the following bands:

Atmosphere
Bile
Cake
Marilyn Manson
Nine Inch Nails (At least until Phantasmatron shows up)
Queens of the Stone Age
White/Rob Zombie

You, Me, Splent, Nick, and Tick all love Rush with a passion, but I think the ultimate battle has to be between Splent and Nick.  Rush is my favorite band, but my fandom doesn't come close to theirs.
