Dream Theater - Dream Theater Survivor: Release Week Special!

Alrighty folks - Here's a special Survivor to celebrate the release-week of DT's latest album, Dream Theater!!!

ONE DAY ROUNDS, so the new round will be up around 8PM tomorrow night, DON'T MISS IT!

Going with the opening track - while it's good, the rest of the album just gets better after FAS. Neat set-up, though, very cinematic and sets the tone very well for the album!

I voted False Awakening Suite because of how Symphony X it sounds. I just really don't like Symphony X and this song is no different, probably the only song I actually dislike on the album.

That is the exact reason I love it! Plus it sounds like boss battle music, I love the riff at 1:21

Easily The Looking Glass. The other songs on the album that felt unmemorable or disappointing after my first couple of listens have all grown on me - except TLG. It just does nothing for me unfortunately.

I think I'll be voting for it for a good few rounds at least though, since a lot of people seem to really like it!

It was just a spur of the moment thing for me, honestly, and I've been taking a long break from Survivors for awhile so I've been itching to start a  new one, and I figured this was a good stepping stone before I start up my next big survivor.
