Dark. The light version is pretty similar to the ADTOE one and it's a good thing that subsequent posts have slightly different background colors, easier to distinguish between them. In the dark version, everything mashes together.
While I absolutely love our dark themes (the BTS one and this new one), I sort of see your point. It's nice when alternate posts are a slightly different shade.

Still, it's never bothered me, and it's not going to start now!

The splash page before had the rope coming out of the doorway from the BC&SL cover. We like to include a nod to the previous album on that page. :)

EDIT: Also, Squibby you are my hero. Didn't realise it would be such an easy change to make!
