Is there a Mike Portnoy Drumset for Battery?
« on: July 30, 2009, 02:23:01 PM »
I use the drum program "Battery 3" as a VST for sequencing drums in Sonar since I don't own any and because they sound damn good if you do it right.  I can get them very close to sounding like a real drummer playing.

I've created my own custom set that I call "Mike Portnoy Systematic Chaos" where I pieced together other sounds from the available sets that come with the program, but it could be much better for the symbals especially.

Is there a MP set that anyone knows of?

thanks for the correction :)

doesn't anyone record using battery as a vst?  Maybe this is the wrong forum for this,... I'll go check out the MP forum maybe.
