ROUND 7 RESULTSScorpion: Savatage - When The Crowds Are GoneI've bought one Savatage album couple weeks ago but never had time to fully check it out. I think it was called "something something Mountain King". Anyways,after hearing this I really wanna hear more. Jon's vocals are really neat and the piano during the intro is a nice touch. The guitar solo was very epic too. Damn,why haven't I heard this before? This is something from the 80s that does not suck. Good job.

MoraWintersoul: Gary Moore - The LonerSome more Moore from Milena I guess.
I've never been a huge fan of Gary Moore to be honest with you. He's an awesome guitarist and all but his music is just too cheesy for my taste. This song had an epic feel to it but it still suffers from the "cheese" factor. That doesn't mean that I didn't like it. In fact,It was pretty good. I'm just biased with this dude's work. But to your luck,your guess of the person who submitted the theme was right!

I still enjoyed it thought but I'm not gonna rate it as high as last time which was an 8/10 because you sent the same thing as before. But it really doesn't matter cause you guessed whose theme this was.

Ruba: Diamond Head - Am I EvilCool,the song Lars Ulrich fucked up.
The intro sounds way doomier here and I prefer it this way. It's a good intro for the song. Sadly,the song kinda bored me and dragged. It could have been excellent if the song was 2 minutes shorter. This is an okay rocker and better than Metallica's cover. I just don't enjoy the 80s signature drum sound. The solo was just okay too. Sorry :/

Zantera: Pixies - Wave Of MutilationThis band doesn't do anything for me really. This song was pretty good though I just don't think it's something that will stick with me. I like the upbeat energy and the song was pretty fun but that's about it.

?: The Cure - The Hanging GardenDamn. Guess what? I actually prefer this over Lovesong! The bassline is pretty cool and the vocals worked better than Lovesong. It's a little more energetic and just overall more fun to listen to. But honestly,I just don't think that The Cure is a band that I enjoy a ton. Now please,no more The Cure. Just not my cup of coffee.

Jingle.Boy: Max Webster - Battle ScarWAIT. Is that who I think that is? IT'S GEDDY LEE. And this was a really cool song. I liked Geddy's inclusion and the song sounded slightly like some Rush tune too. Boy,this was a treat.

This was a pretty aggressive noise rock song. I liked the enthusiastic vocals and the fast nature of the song. My one problem is that the song is not the most replayable in this round. I kinda got bored during my 3rd listen. Besides that,this was good.

Rattlehead: Megadeth - My Last WordsReally? More thrash metal? *sigh* My biggest problem with Megadeth is that Dave just can't sing. The riffs are decent and all but maybe the band could have looked for a better singer? Anyways,like I said the riffs are pretty neat. The solo was quite cool too. So yeah. I liked this way more than Slayer.

Elite: Toxik - Shotgun LogicSeriously? More thrash? Oh god… Well,the intro riff was quite cool actually. The vocals were okay but at times the higher notes got annoying. And then… the song went calm for some reason and some solo pops out. This was actually a really nice touch. For the first freaking time,I enjoyed something close to "thrash metal". Good job.
