Same here - amazed how much my 6yo mentions Jessie (Retriever we lost about 4 months ago) - she was a constant for him throughout.  Me.............I was a bloody mess and then broke my leg and it miraculously snapped me out of it  ;D

Oh god, I've gone through the pain of losing a dog before but had never seen this thread before and reading all these events that some of you have gone though has really hit me hard but in a good way. Its good to see everybody having those good memories and moments of their pets and appreciating all those years they were with them. Pets man, one of the greatest things ever.
