Okay, as I already announced in the two current Amorphis threads (https://www.dreamtheaterforums.org/boards/index.php?topic=366.0 and https://www.dreamtheaterforums.org/boards/index.php?topic=37773.0), I will run the band's survivor this year. There probably won't be a whole lot of people participating, since the amount of hardcore fans of the band here on DTF seems to be fairly small, but even if you are not familiar with all of the band's material, I'd appreciate you participating where you can

Some general details:

- The survivor will start on Saturday, 17th August 2013
- The rounds will be two days, but if more or less time is needed, this might change
- If I won't be able to visit DTF for a couple of days, I will tell you so in advance
- The top 2 songs from each album will go to the finals, #3 will go to the consolation
- The consolation winner will enter the finals as well
- Please vote in the poll above if you want me to include bonus and non-album tracks. There would be an extra round for those (meaning the bonus tracks will not be part of the actual album rounds), and the winners would be treated like the winners of the album rounds
- Tiebreakers will take place if needed

Yeah, let's have all the songs in the competition - B-sides weren't included in the survivor when I ran it, so it would be nice. However, covers (Light My Fire, Levitation, And I Hear You Call) don't need to be there, because they aren't original Amorphis songs and probably wouldn't do too well anyway.

Completely forgot about the covers, but yes, they won't be included, just like the demos (songs from Privilege Of Evil, the self titled demo etc).

My list would obviously be different to the final ranking, but I'm happy that a lot of my favorites made it to top 10. Too bad I lost the results of the previous survivor and we can't make comparisons. I remember the winner was the same, though

Sampo is a worthy winner, and I'm absolutely stoked to see Dead Man's Dream do so well. Love that song, never understood why it was only a bonus track.
