I should get the thread up sometime today, so I can start getting people in. Need to wrangle up a banned artists list too, I suppose.

Since my music library isn't that big, the ban list will be quite small and you should be able to send pretty much whatever you want. I'm thinking 8 players would probably be best for what I have in mind so the first 8 people to show interest are in! Either post here or PM me and I'll add you to the list.

I'd like to get on the waiting list as an organizer. I'm afraid I'd be of little use as a participant since almost every band I listen to I learned about via DTF (and these are all, like, the most popular bands on DTF), but I could use a few weeks of people sending me a bunch of new music.

Well, the reason I hadn't signed up sooner is because I wanted to come up with a unique theme/game/system for it instead of just doing a "plain" roulette. But now I'm thinking that my first roulette will probably go a lot smoother if it isn't complicated.

In any case, it looks like I've got a long wait, plenty of time to potentially come up with something usable and change my mind.

this would be my advice.  Take it easy with the first one, then start branching out with the bells and whistles if/when you decide to do another one.
