Just heard about this 90's rap/rock band from my friend's facebook page.  Never heard of them before.

New Eminem album Music To Be Murdered By is good, some guests I don't care for, but he's still on point.  Rapid fire funny lyrics, not much singing.

I only listened to it once and think only two or three songs really stuck out to me.

For anyone that likes Drake, he released some new music: Dark lane demo tapes

I am digging it so far. Pretty chill and laid back

I came across the new album by Run The Jewels - RTJ4, since it was being released for free and damn does it have some groove. I never heard of the band before, will have to check out their other stuff.

Being a casual hip hop/rap fan, this album reminds me a lot of the old school stuff I listened to back in the 80s/90s.
The track with Zack De La Rocha is fire.

All of their albums are great. My favorite is 3, but 2 is generally considered the best.

Nas dropped a new album, produced by Hit Boy (?).  Great vocals but beats are too new school for me.  It's alright.

Great new album by Andy Cooper.  Impeccable timing, fun clean lyrics, good energy, and a real DJ!

DMX passed away...

I remember jamming out Ruff Riders Anthem on the bus to school and calling into our local radio station one time to request this song.

Addiction is a rough and tough battle.

Reunited with Aaliyah...

Been following this since he was admitted to the hospital last week (mainly because local news keep showing it)

Sad lost, I enjoyed some of his music as a teen.

This is a fascinating dig.  This song uses so many samples and it's interesting to see where they come from.  It amazes me that people can know so much about records to be able to add 1-2 second clips of them into songs.  This one has samples of an Indian singer, Don Pardo, old radio shows, even Ronald Reagan!

Just discovered this 90's female rapper Bahamadia.  Ice cold voice, Q-Tip style flow, chill beats.  Awesome.

This new album is so good.  Production, old school beats, lyrics, flow, timing, personality are all on point.   He just came out recently but he's becoming one of my favorites.
