1. Disappear (Six Degrees Of Inner Turbulence)
My favorite DT song is Disappear. It may even be the best song ever, I dunno. Either way, this song is really sad and emotional. It just brings up so many emotions when you listen to it. The plot of the lyrics is very simple; a relationship where one of the people is dying. However, JLB nails the lyrics on this one. The lyrics are one of the best parts of the song IMO, and I rarely listen to the lyrics of songs carefully. No guitar solos, this song is just too good by itself. My favorite part of the song is near the end, at "So I'm moving on". This part contains the couple's last words to each other. It's one of the most beautiful parts in ANY song. IMO, even though it would've been weird, Disappear should've ended SDOIT. It's just a really amazing song.

I don't really hate any of these tracks above. They're just kinda boring. Surrounded is no exception. I don't know why this one is boring, since it is usually liked. But it just doesn't do it for me.

2. Light Fuse And Get Away
Ugh. This song and #1 I can actually say I hate. The lyrics in the first verse seem really whiny, and just make me want to stop listening. But if I get past it, I hear the super random and stupid chorus.  The beat is just completely different. "Can you tell me why things had to change so suddenly?"

1. Scarred
Yup. Scarred is my least favorite DT song. It's just a really boring song for the most part, and the chorus sounds like crap IMO. I don't see why this song is liked so much. I don't even find the outro any good.

The Looking Glass is eh but not bottom 10. TKH I dunno probably not. UAGM is GOOD screw you :T
The Shattered Fortress is alright, it's interesting as a series of reprises but not as a song. OAMAT and AROP I have on my bottom 10 as well so okay alright. Surrender to Reason is definitely not bottom 10. Surrounded is awesome. LFAGA is okay for bottom 10 as well.
Scarred as the worst song is a very no though

I'm not really a big fan of Scarred either. I mean, it's a pretty good track, but it really surprised me to find out that for a lot of people it's one of their best.

Same. When I got Awake, I expected a lot more out of Scarred. Although, looking at the list, I might switch it with Light Fuse And Get Away, since I think I hate that one more then Scarred.

So I thought you guys would find it interesing to see my new top 10 DT songs. Because my new top 10 DT songs are very different now.

10. A Change Of Seasons (ACOS) - This one fell a bit, only to make room for some new songs that I think are even more awesome.
9. In The Presence Of Enemies (SC) - Same as above. Still a great song.
8. Lifting Shadows Off A Dream (Awake) - When I made this thread, this song just BARELY missed the top 30. I've listened to it more, and now I just find it amazing. "And she listens OPENLYYYYYYYYYYY" is friggin' great.
7. Finally Free (SFAM) - Same as ITPOE and ACOS.
6. The Great Debate (6DOIT) - Before I made this thread, I only listened to this song a few times, and it didn't do it for me. But two days ago I saw somebody put this at #2 on their list, so I decided to listen to this. Holy crap, this is epic! The last "turn to the light" part is one of the most epic parts in a DT song. This will probably make the top 5 in a few days.
5. Space Dye Vest (Awake) - Moved down one. Finally Free and this one were moved out of the top 4, and they were replaced by these two songs:
4. Prophets Of War (SC) - Yeah. I'm sorry, but this song is just awesome. I can't understand all the hate for it to be completely honest. The second verse and the last chorus are truly spectacular.
3. About To Crash (6DOIT) - This probably will be the most surprisinging to all of you. About To Crash above SDV, ITPOE, ACOS, and FF? Yup. This song is THAT good to me. The whole thing is just stunning, but the super slow guitar solo is probably the most epic DT section I've ever heard. About To Crash is fuckign amazing.
2. Octavarium (8VM) - Hasn't changed. Still a killer song.

The last "Turn to the light" part in TGD is probably the worst part to me because it feels unnecessary and the lyrical section before it was a much better ending to the lyrical portions of the song
