That is such bad planning if it's US only, especially considering there is such a huge fanbase outside the country. South America and Europe consistently provide massive crowds at live shows. Fingers crossed something's sorted.

For who don't live in USA can use Hotspot Shield for once to view the song. It sets your IP like it's located in USA.

I'm sure they'll get a non-USA stream set up very soon. The band and their management knows that the vast majority of the band's fans are not in the USA.

Doesn't sound like bad planning to me. Their audience is already bigger in those other areas, it makes sense to try to grow their audience here in the States.

Yes, but it also doesn't make sense to prevent a large proportion of their fans from hearing the band's new single. It would hardly be fair, would it?

Anyway, I'm still confident something will be set up so I'm not going to complain too much yet.

I haven't heard Headspace, and while Haken is great, for me, DT blows everything else out of the water so fucking hard it's not even funny anymore

Of all the evils I was expecting my disgruntled blog rant to unleash, the word "hectoring" was... not one of them.

USAtoday region lock - I'm sure it's a good marketing spot, and if they've got that much clout and requested exclusivity it might be that the website had them in something of an arm-lock, but it seems rather arbitrary, in such a way that it puts kind of a bitter taste in my mouth. Not cool, RoadRunner. And it's a shame that my first thoughts about The Enemy Inside's premiere - which I should be stoked for - are, "Well, that kind of sucks." I don't think that's a great vibe to foster. I'm still excited... but excited with a pretty big asterisk.
