new song tops anything they've ever done. sounds like the best elements of all 3 previous albums.

pre-ordered the vinyl right when they announced, glad i got one! saw that they sold out of the first batch. stoked!

Their play-throughs always rule and this one was no exception. It was definitely one of their best.

Yeah, I'm really digging the post-rock vibe on that song. This album has me pretty pumped.

That was fantastic. All three songs released thus far have been their A-game. I definitely believe this record has the opportunity to be their best, and one of the best of the year.

Narrow Silent seems ok. Not digging the "djenty" () influence at the start there. Sounds like the Scale the summit i was expecting but with some pretty interesting guitar parts.
based on the other songs we've heard sounds like it's going to be more promising than the last. I still think Carving Desert Canyons is their go to album (most seem to disagree with me on that though :blush), although i think this could top all of them.

It's one little part, so I'm not worried about that. The rhythm is a cool little rhythm, though.

It's out there...

Edit: Just finished my first listen. Seriously amazing album. I see it potentially beating The Collective as my favorite StS album after a few listens. It certainly seems to be more diverse than anything they've done before.

Of the songs I haven't heard yet, Willow really stands out. Unbelievably good track. Probably their darkest song. The Olive Tree is amazing as well.

9.5/10

Auugh I am so glad they went in the direction of "Redwoods" with this album, it's so lush and gorgeous and absolutely melodic as possible. It's beautiful and I'm entirely sure this is their best record yet.

Album is really really good.  I'd say my favorites are Olive Tree and Narrow Salient thus far....The second half of Narrow Salient is just ridiculous.  Can't wait to see them on Wednesday (and it's only a 5 minute walk from my house).

Also, this album has my favorite album art in years, easily.

The Migration is so much better than their other stuff. It's ridiculous.

And I agree with above, the album art is so good.
