It's good that the laws are finally changing to more closely reflect public opinion on the possession and use of marijuana, but it's got a LONG way to go in New England before it's readily available to those who qualify.


Still, it's pretty cool that if you get caught with a spliff or two while out and about you're not going to jail over it.

New Hampshire has the strictest laws so far. In CT, if you are caught with a joint, you most likely won't even receive a ticket. I believe up to a quarter ounce gets you a ticket equivalent to j-walking.

Yay Washington! It is funny seeing ads on buses here that say "Remember, Marijuana is still illegal under federal law."
