Black Sabbath Survivor - Headless Cross - Round 1
« on: July 23, 2013, 05:40:44 AM »
Final The Eternal Idol rankings;

1. Ancient Warrior
2. The Shining / Glory Ride
3. Nightmare
4. Eternal Idol
5. Lost Forever
6. Born to Lose
7. Scarlet Pimpernal
8. Hard Life to Love

Because of the results of the last round and a tie breaker invalid, the top three songs will go to the finals and Nightmare will head to the consolation.

1989 - Headless Cross

Headless Cross is the fourteenth album by heavy metal band Black Sabbath, released in April 1989.  This is the band's second album to feature singer Tony Martin and the first to feature drummer Cozy Powell.

Lineup;

Tony Iommi - Guitar
Tony Martin - Vocals
Geoff Nicholls - Keys
Laurence Cottle - Bass
Cozy Powell - Drums

This album was in my top 50 of all time, it's absolutely incredible and possibly my fav Sabbath album.  Everything about this album is perfect.  Again, 2 votes for the first round due to save wasting time on simply voting for the Gates of Hell.  And since it's an intro, I don't really want to tie it to the title track.

The Gates of Hell and Black Moon

Call.

Even more than the last one, this album reminds me of Rising Force. It has the same Gothic styling, and Tony Martin has a similar style to JS Soto.
Argument, the presentation of reasonable views, never makes headway against conviction, and conviction takes no part in argument because it knows.
