I'll be 50 in Feb 2014

And I own Black Sabbath's first 5 albums on 8-track.  I still have them and better yet, I still have a functioning 8-track player

52 here, but I look like a young 58 year-old.
"Owners of dogs will have noticed that, if you provide them with food and water and shelter and affection, they will think you are God. Whereas owners of cats are compelled to realize that, if you provide them with food and water and affection, they draw the conclusion that they are God.” — Christopher Hitchens

I found a few people on the calendar who are over 55, but they signed up for accounts years ago and never posted.

That's a word salad - and take it from me, I know word salad
I fear for the day when something happens on the right that is SO nuts that even Stadler says "That's crazy".

I tell myself the same thing each morning when the alarm goes off, than I step out of bed and my body reminds me otherwise

Thankfully my body feels fine as I get out of bed everyday. No different than I felt 20 years ago.

My bladder tells me I can't do what I did in my 20's.
I don't like country music, but I don't mean to denigrate those who do. And for the people who like country music, denigrate means 'put down'.” - Bob Newhart
So wait, we're spelling it wrong and king is spelling it right? What is going on here? :lol -- BlobVanDam

Just goes to show that even "fogeys" don't know it all.   My reminiscing got me curious about Onslaught.   I didn't even know that they had been around before Grimmitt....and that In Search of Sanity had been panned by most people who had been fans of their previous work.    Not being familiar with their previous stuff, I actually thought it was kindof cool.   Especially the opening 1-2 punch of Asylum and the title track.   One of the coolest openings I can remember.

Now I need to go check out their earlier work.

Actually their earlier work, while good, is kind of generic mid 80s thrash. In Search of Sanity may have been Onslaught going commercial, but it was filled with long, kick ass songs that are kind of brought down by a weak production. It actually IS their best 80s album.
The bones of beasts and the bones of kings become dust in the wake of the hymn.
