Yep. I think the only party in the MP/DT situation that hasn't moved on is DTF.

Hef is right on all things. Except for when I disagree with him. In which case he's probably still right.

Man, that one scene in STIV: The Voyage Home is so bizarre now.  The scene where Kirk is hitting up Catherine Hicks and his communicator goes off.  "The present day" was 1986 and there were no cell phones, so he's trying to be discrete with this device that lets him talk to someone miles away.  I saw it on TV recently, and it was a very strange time-warp.

Lol  Push To Talk
I just don't understand what they were trying to achieve with any part of the song, either individually or as a whole. You know what? It's the Platypus of Dream Theater songs. That bill doesn't go with that tail, or that strange little furry body, or those webbed feet, and oh god why does it have venomous spurs!? And then you find out it lays eggs too. The difference is that the Platypus is somehow functional despite being a crazy mishmash or leftover animal pieces

The scene where Kirk is hitting up Catherine Hicks...

Excuse me for just a minute here. Kirk was not "hitting up" Gillian. He is clearly following his best lead at finding the whales he needs to complete his mission and save Earth. Granted, this did involve engaging her in a social setting, to better set her mind at ease about his intentions. But playing it smooth with the fairer sex was purely a small facet of his challenging role as Captain/Admiral and not indicitave of his true personality in any way.

Okay, that's all true.  But in this case, I'm sure he'd determined that hitting her up was his best shot at getting the whales, so why not do both?  Or maybe I'm projecting.  I had a crush on Dr. Gillian.

I thought CC's response was a joke defense, because I think CC was right, but so was Orbert in saying Kirk wanted to do the time warp.

So it's a typical Star Trek paradox then.
