Hey everyone a question for you. Based on your past experiences at this venue, is it all seated? Or is the stall area standing? Thanks!

Sorry don't know but I booked my ticket yesterday:-)
The creation and destruction of harmonic and 'statistical' tensions is essential to the maintenance of compositional drama. Any composition (or improvisation) which remains consonant and 'regular' throughout is, for me, equivalent to watching a movie with only 'good guys' in it, or eating cottage cheese.

I'm debating it. As I said in another thread I would only go if the setlist has a bit of difference from the previous night

I'll be there. Wembley is easier for me to get to, but there was no atmosphere there last time, and the Civic is a nice little venue (2,000 capacity), so I thought I'd go there instead. Debating whether to drive home after or book a hotel.

Well I stayed at the Britannia for the Marillion Weekend in April, and that was £35 a night - bog standard and basic, but that's all you need. They're now quoting £73 a night, so they've obviously had Alex Polizzi in since then.

Hope you guys enjoy this one, I've seen two excellent shows at the venue (2005 and 2011). Unfortunately the ticket prices this time round prevent me from doing London and Wolves.

Is anyone else still awaiting tickets from Crowdsurge? I have to say I'm unimpressed with their customer service.

I've just checked and I'm still awaiting my tickets for Wolverhampton, it does however say they will probably be sent 14 days before the actual event so I'm not overly concerned. I'm going to be Row A for it, managed to get one of the Platinum Meet & Greet packages  :metal

Got a Ticketmaster voucher and some cash for my birthday, sorely sorely tempted to get a ticket for this one as well as the Wembley show.

Just have to factor in how much it would cost... ticket, around £30 for the train, and it looks like £40 for a hotel (unless someone can recommend somewhere?)

Is there a taxi rank near the Civic Hall? I don't fancy walking on my own in Wolverhampton after the show!

I'm in exactly the same boat. Row A, Platinum Meet n' Greet with no ticket as yet. Crowdsurge support says wait till 5 days to go before the event. I don't think so! They're getting until this weekend.

I'm sure nothing's wrong but I'd feel better with the ticket in my hand.

Got an email from Crowdsurge saying the ticket will be dispatched "in the upcoming weeks". Seeing as they've only got 3 weeks to go, that's not exactly telling me much, is it?

Anyway, glad to know I'm not the only one.

I got the same email last night too, I'm trying to remember when I got my tickets for when I saw them in Manchester during PN 09, but during that tour you had to buy the ticket and meet and greet separately so I believe they sent the tickets out a lot sooner. I will give them until a weeks time and email them too, I know it says five days before but when you spent 200 on something and plan on travelling three hours from Teesside better to be safe than sorry.

Tickets, hotel and train all booked.

Looks like they released some unsold VIP packages or something, as I managed to nab a seat six rows from the front Petrucci side on Ticketmaster.

Wembley on the Friday, Wolves on the Saturday! ;D

Another quick update, got another e-mail to say mine have been dispatched. Hope the rest of you who are waiting also got the same e-mail. Looking forward to getting down there now, if you happen to see a guy in me mid twenties walking around in a Dream Theater hoodie looking a bit clueless it'll likely be me so feel free to say hi :P

Got mine on Saturday, however the postie left them sticking out the letterbox so any passing idiot could swipe them, and they got soaked in all the rain. They'll be OK once they're dried out...

Yeah, the VIP packages were undersold - kind of makes me mad that I paid for a gold VIP package (row 5) and there'll be people in the rows in front of me in the platimum seats who got them for cover price.  :censored

Still, gonna be an awesome show.

Yup. I was only going to Wolves until after Xmas, when I realised I had a little money left over and decided to treat myself.

It seems the other UK dates are starting at 7:30 - Wolves is apparently 8pm on my ticket. Seems a little late for a 3 hour show, especially in this country!

Does anyone know whether the Wolves date is 7:30?

Ive been saying this for ages. My theory now is that maybe the Civic has a license to stay open for longer at weekends? This show is on a Saturday. Other than that I have no clue!

Don't be so silly. It'll start at 7.30. The promoters print the tickets, and they're so used to bands thesedays playing 90 minute sets that it's never occured to them that a band can play for longer than that.  :metal :metal

Only a couple of days away!

It looks like the "Numa Bar" near the venue is going to be playing DT tunes pre/aftershow. I have no idea what the bar is like but if any of you wanna meet up that looks the place.

I'm at Leamington Spa now. Trains are better than I thought.

Might go check out this Numa bar playing DT tunes around 6ish if anyone is interested.
