Are you there, cyberdrummer?  :police: ;)

Haha no, but I have sourced somebody in Spain to let me know the setlist at albeit irregular intervals.

So they're not doing an special 30 minute edition of Trial of Tears?

I reckon they'll probably shift Illumination Theory to the encore, and use the SFAM section to end the second set.

The show isn't over yet, if it started 2.5 hours ago. That's probably what they will do, although I wonder why they axed Scarred for this show?

I guess Scarred is too much for James to pull off every night. They might swap in another song?

Which would be another hint that the guy actually read this place for feedback.  :lol

I've been told that there were some venues with strictier time costraints than others (still hoping the one I'll attend is not among them). Axing a song is the only way to fit in the show, but I was hoping for The Shattered Fortress. Personally, Scarred is an absolute career highlight for the band!

We saw the trouble James had with IT last night, sounds a strange idea if they want to push it even further back in the setlist...  :-\

Yeah definitely. Finally Free is also NOT easy to sing and if he has to sing Illumination Theory after that, man.. i don't want to know how long he is able to hold up considering this brutal slaughtering tour schedule (4 shows in 4 days, 1 day rest and then again 4 shows in 4 days..) i'm watching Illumination Theory live right now and as much as i love James as a singer, it is really painful to watch (i immediately knew that it would cause problems live the moment i heard the studio version).

I'm sure James will improve as the tour is moving along. Poor James..he does not deserve this.

It would have started at 8 then, wouldn't it? Someone mentioned show time 3 hours ago.

But if you look at the setlist you can't argue that that is not a 3h show.

wtf
I just don't understand what they were trying to achieve with any part of the song, either individually or as a whole. You know what? It's the Platypus of Dream Theater songs. That bill doesn't go with that tail, or that strange little furry body, or those webbed feet, and oh god why does it have venomous spurs!? And then you find out it lays eggs too. The difference is that the Platypus is somehow functional despite being a crazy mishmash or leftover animal pieces

The setlist.fm page was updated, and Strange Deja Vu and TDOE were added.

I just realized, there are two songs with the SDV acronym in the same show! :P

Very strange. It's been 3 hours and yet the songs they played don't sum up to 3 hours, even factoring in the intermission.

Hasn't it been 2 hours? It started at 9pm UK time, and 10pm local time (I was mistaken).

Either the show started late, or the intermission was extended, or a song was spontaenously extended. We don't know yet. XD

I'm thinking technical hitch, like their monitors went out or something. Very easy to get lost in TDOE if that's the case. Seen that happen at a DT show before.
