" Without a doubt i'm proud to have tinnitus. It makes you a real rock star. Anyone without Tinnitus can fuck right off. "

Dear Liam. Please Go Deaf.

You fucking Moron.

Speaking as someone who has moderately damaged his hearing from a lifetime working in the construction industry, may I just say, Liam, take a flying fuck at a rolling doughnut, you tool.

I guess it makes him feel better about his condition?
Winger would be better!

Exactly. He really has no ability to back up his stupid big mouth.

His band is playing on The X Factor and he claims it's the massive "audience" which is the reason for it.

Couldn't have anything to do with Noel turning down Two Million to appear on it of course...

And he backs it up by repeating " I'm still a rock n roll star, me " in the article.

It really is utterly transparent.

Plus he said that he would reform oasis for " massive amounts of money " BUT that wouldn't be the reason :lol ok then. Why bring it up ?

I know people dislike Noel as well but for me - Noel has shown a great deal of maturity and growth since 1994 when they started out. He's clever and funny and his solo album is fantastic whereas the Beady Eye album was dreadful. It was easy to dislike them *both* in the mid nineties but Noel has grown up a lot since then. Plus he admits that all the stuff he says is always said with tongue firmly in cheek. You just don't get that with Liam at all. he really is that stupid.
I can link to videos of interviews with Noel with just him and the interviewer where he is self-effacing and down to earth and honest and funny.
Every interview with Liam is just machismo and making himself look good.

I also have tinnitus and it was an extremely frustrating condition for many, many years. I wouldn't wish it on anyone and I take care of my hearing now.

He might as well have said he's proud his cigarette habit gave him lung cancer. It's really that stupid IMO.

I have a real problem with using machismo to brush away harming yourself. It's just moronic and a total affectation.

Come on guys, it's Liam Gallagher.  Anyone who followed Oasis in the ninties knows how much of a dick he is.  I've always been a fan though, although what I heard of Beady Eye didn't impress me.

This quote just makes me  :lol

I know he is a dick and lately he's just ramped up his dick quota substantially.

I know it's only because he has an album coming out that he has to flog like it's the best thing ever but he has no tact or wit at all.

My dad has hyperacusis on top of tinnitus, he must be way awesomer than this tool.

...and as a side, hyperacusis treatment is weird. You wear this device that pumps white noise, at the loudest volume you have no pain on, into your ear all day. It looks like a massive hearing aid, so people kept raising their voices at my dad since they thought he couldn't hear, which only increased the chance their talking caused him pain. :lol :(

I was talking at work with some coworkers about Liam Gallagher, and the whole conversation went essentially like

"...Liam Gallagher."
"Who?"
"Played for that 90s British band Oasis."
"Oh, they played Wonderwall, and Boys will be Boys, right?"
"Nah, the last one is Blur."
"Oh, ok."
"Yeah, I can't think of any other song really either."

For a band that you can barely name 2 songs of, Liam is surely a bit full of himself :lol

I don't know who the guy is, but he seems like an idiot. And he must be, as it seems he never thought to wear some earplugs?

By the way, you can't make the comparison, "Saying you're proud of having tinnitus is like saying you're proud the cigarettes you've been smoking gave you lung cancer". Last I checked, tinnitus doesn't kill you. Comparing tinnitus to diabetes might be a 'better' one.

Besides, 100% of people who smoke cigarettes in developed countries know the dangers of smoking them.

It's not so much living under a rock, it's just that it's one of those bands that is firmly a 90s band.

Maybe as both cigarettes and loud music damage you and you know it but still continue. .

I am shocked to read people don't know who he is.  Hell, I saw his new band on the HD music channel where I live.  I may think he is a total ass (remember when he got in a fight with his brother during the tapping of MTV Unplugged and his brother sang all the songs while he wouldn't perform?!) but you've got to be under a rock to not know Oasis.

Arguably in the UK, but no way this is true in the US.

Not at all Wolf. they were on MTV every other video for like 4 years straight plus all the news about the fighting.  They were big here in the States.

Never heard the middle one, but that song wasn't even good. Not that the other songs are the greatest either, but at least they had some melody to them. I've also never seen so many likes on so many comments on YouTube.
