Found this quite by accident while catching up on Fringe

Okay, so Wey and I have been catching up on Fringe, and he caught something while we were watching the Season 4 episode Everything In Its Right Place.  Wey swears he sees the burning heart from Images and Words, while I see the burning apple from Live Scenes.





What say you, DTFers? (sorry for the blurry pics - the concert handbill y'all are looking at is the first one on the left and I can't seem to find a clearer pic of it yet)

It doesn't look like the burning apple, as that had much bigger flames. Looks more like the burning heart, but it doesn't quite appear to match any DT release that I can tell. It certainly looks like it though!

It was much clearer on the TV screen, to be completely honest - the pictures lead you to believe it's heart-shaped, but on the pause it looked more round.

Either way - it was really cool to know that DT exists in the parallel universe. :blob: :P

I'm going with heart based on the shape.  On the poster here, it is at least as wide at the top as it is in the middle, and definitely wider at the top than the bottom.  The DT burning heart was wide at the top and the middle (because of the wire), and narrow at the bottom.  The burning apple was wide in the middle and sort of narrow at the top and bottom.

I used to watch Fringe, and never caught that. :|

I don't think it's either, though. Every depiction of either the heart or the apple that I have seen has a huge flame pointing out at the top, which that poster lacks. Can't deny the similarities though.

Wey caught it out of the corner of his eye, and being DT geeks... well... you know the result. :biggrin:

You're right - it may not be either one, but it sure is similar enough.
