So it's not incredibly different from the US one. That's interesting. I cannot for the life of me find a price on how much I had to pay for my license, but I also went to a driving school and that definitely was at least a couple hundred dollars.

Yep, I'll be happy if I get my driver's license with lessons included for 1500 euros. We have to take a theory exam and a practical exam, and the practical exams are actually pretty hard/strict.

Yeah, the theory one expires after about two years too, and it includes a clicky-clicky hazard perception bit, there's also a five minute "free driving" section in the practical, where you follow signs to somewhere, and then there's reversing manouvers too.

Actually I have no clue. My bank put a hold on my account after a purchase went through from Quebec. Why they didn't reject the purchase since I hadn't informed them about traveling out of the country and I live in New Jersey I have no idea. But yeah. :\
