I really appreciate JP's willingness to discuss the new album without giving spoilers.
I couldn't help but notice (or imagine), when other members give answers in the Twitter Q&A, that JP always looks at them in a sort of a "good, you're not saying something you shouldn't yet say" kind of way :D
:lol

Seriously, just look at him, you'll see :D

I would love if Jordan said "We've entered a bit into the gothic demain" just to see who catches the reference :D

If you interview James LaBrie, please ask him some more in depth questions about his lyrics

I actually did that on the Six Degrees tour. In particular "Disappear". It was printed in one of our fanzines. Dont know if I have the actual recording anymore...

Dear God. I MUST read that! Any way I could get a copy? Or could you post the page?

I'd like to think the reason that a lot of the questions and answers are slightly mundane is cos they're the only usable ones. All the best questions, John Myung's been spouting off, going, "Oh, yeah, track three, Earthquake, it's an absolute blast - it's like this sort of cacophonous metal, ragtime swing, walking bass line, my idea, not like anything we've done before, not everyone's gonna like it but it's going to be so much fun live, I swear." Then he sings the chorus, the rest of the band join in - swaying, waving lighters, Mangini lighting up a fat cigar - and JP's just there on the sideline, arms folded, glowering.

They settle down, and the next question is from @turtleporridge192929 - "Will the new album contain any guitar solos?"

"Well, yes, turtle porridge, I can confirm that I've recorded some ripping guitar solos, and we can't wait for you to hear them."

That sounds like the greatest thing ever.

Oh wait, that's TDEN. Even better, I can listen to it right now! \m/

robwebster

Psh - TDEN's not the greatest thing ever.

Top five, though. Good call. :hat

It was more of a figure of speech anyway. Plus a song with the name Earthquake would have no doubt nudged it up a few places. :P

I am going to survive the rest of the day on this, screw food, air and water

Rob, you should campaign for something. The whole DTF would vote you blindfolded.

Whatever it is, consider me already voted for him.
Rob's posts are the textual equivalent of hearing Morgan Freeman's voice.

Now imagine Morgan Freeman reading Rob's posts. :|

What do we think would be the five most redundant questions someone could ask one of DT ?

1.Was ADTOE about Portnoy leaving ?
2.What does 'Dream Theater' mean ?
3.Will you ever do Metropolis part 3 ?
4.Why does Pull Me Under get cut off sudde
5.Does John Myung ever speak?
6.DT PLS WILL YOU COME TO INDONESIA?

:rollin

You just nailed that one haha!!!

 The first time that I've been sigged! Thanks Marco.

wasteland

Somewhat surprising to hear that. You make great posts.

?

Your sig changes pretty often, doesn't it? ;D

wasteland

Just recently! It's because people are posting awesome stuff related to me or uber awesome stuff with a certain frequency in these past few weeks. It will cool down eventually :p

So the Kveni Mroer quote falls into this category? Thanks! :D

It doesn't need to cool down - if someone says something awesome, it's always worth sigging!
