Help me remember this movie
« on: April 23, 2013, 08:48:17 AM »
We've done this drill before, but let's go for it anyway! OKAY.

So I remember very clearly in the early 00s, when I was either 12 or 13, I saw this movie all the time on HBO. It was a murder mystery set in either the 1950s or 1960s, because the establishing scene was at a drive-in movie theater. At some point in the scene, after the shot passes by several cars with couples either making out or more, we pass over to the snack bar at the back of the establishment. A girl is trying buy snacks or something, and she's waiting impatiently I think, and the dude running the stand is like, "Hold the fuck on" (he doesn't actually say it in those words, but it's something to that effect). Then another girl with much bigger boobs than the first one walks up and also asks for some snacks and stuff and the guy's all, "Oh yeah, right away miss." The girl notices, and after that I can't really remember anything, but I'm pretty sure someone dies.

Also, there's a "nice guy" character who's in a wheelchair, and at some point later in the movie, he's also killed. I never saw the ending of this movie whose name I can't remember, so any help would be appreciated!

Was it the one where the kid in the wheelchair made friends with the jock and told him that he was getting a full body transplant from this top-secret facility. At the end of the movie the wheelchair kid dies and the jock finds out the top-secret facility was just a laundromat?

Roadhouse

I don't think so.

Clearly you are unfamiliar with the awesomeness of Roadhouse.  It is so good, it can actually be another movie.

Possibly...all I know is it wasn't Roadhouse. :lol

Nobody else wants to take a stab at it? Chino, do you remember the name of the movie you're describing?
