sup gurrrrl

Congrats on the baby, but boo on no beer drinking.
Thanks :D I know! Boo :( And I'm a board member of the local good-beer-drinking club ("The Good Beers Club"). And we're having our 5th annually homebrew competition in a few weeks, there's always so much good beer there! The bonus is: We have a great excuse for trying to brew non-alcoholic beer (after we move), do weird stuff to non-alcoholic beer one can buy (like dry-hopping it!), no one think it's weird if I have malt in my pockets, to snack on... and some of the bartenders at our local pub takes great pity in me and give me free peanuts if I'm feeling sick :P
And also a bonus: Baby! :D Of course..

I remember you. So what happens then?!

Then YAY!

Hi Hyperplex! Hope you're good :) What happened with your (other) creepy avatar? It was you who had the boy eating himself in reverse, right? :P

That went away a while ago, but yes that was me. And funny you should ask, I was just about to change this one.

So everything ok with you guys? We've moved (same city, but way on the other side), I've broken 2 phones in 6 months (Android phones' screens break as easily as iPhone screens :P ) and I'm soon 25 weeks pregnant and, of course, getting bigger as I write this :P Been on sick leave for months but still haven't had the time to get bored. Or any sleep, lately, with one Extremely Busy girl in my belly. She'll be a drummer for sure...

You know, all the things I just wrote :P I'm lurking in the shadows some times, but there's so many new people, and everyone (including me, of course) has changed. How's you and your family?

It is the nature of Internet communities to change over time.  Just jump into a conversation if you feel you have something to say.  If any of the newbies have a problem with it, just let us know, and us oldtimers will beat the shit out of them for you.

Haha :P Yeah, I guess the problem is I just don't find I have so much to say here anymore. Not that I was very useful to begin with, ms."want to stay and talk all day", though ;)

We're all good.

Nothing wrong with change in and of itself, and I don't think the changes around here are a bad thing.  It's just what happens over time.

Yep, if everything stayed the same, it wouldn't be "settling", it would regress.. And so also with people :) It's good that a "new generation" of fans emerge with all the fire and strong opinions and loud discussions that comes with it. I'm glad I'm not 18 any more, even though I'm starting to feel a bit like an "adult" :S Scary shit. Good that you're all good :)

I'm not sure whether I count as an oldie, but I can't believe how long I have been here. Many, many hours have been wasted here.

Good! Doing a lot of walking these days (to try and keep somewhat in shape), barbequing on the terrace, getting to know the neighborhood pets... Reading the Discworld series and re-watching Buffy and Babylon 5 in between all the continuing series... Not much energy for weirdness, but Husband makes up for it :P And you?

I'm still here, though you probably don't know me.  I've been around since before 6DOIT; of course, I can't get the MOD to acknowledge it and give me a fancy Veteran status.

haha, that's a sign as much as anything else of how little time I spend here lately. I'm well, and trying to brew a lot. I finally started kegging my batches a couple months ago and I'm wondering why I waited so long :hat

Congrats on teh baby :D

How is babby formed? How girl get pragnent? I know the answer to these things, and now I also know in an intimate, painful way, how they get out into the world as well :P Will let this pic stay up for a day or so, so you all can say "now..that's a babby" and other things that are not compliments (because babbies be ugly*) but hiding that fact well.

*except my little stargazer princess which is beautiful as sin.

Say hi to Vilje Ragnine!
