No, I don't like losing. And I don't like sending you music you don't like (that goes for any/every roulette I'm in).

For what it's worth, I'm not bitching. I can take low scores, and anyone not liking my submissions (I got my big boy panties on). If you didn't like Addicted to that Rush, ok... I'll live with that. But your OP said interpret how we want; I did just that; your review hinted the score was low (or you didn't like it) because it didn't fit the theme. All I did was quote your OP, which is seemingly contradictory to comments made when reviewing.

I'm not bitching, just pointing out the facts - which I didn't know was akin to not taking my scores well. $:\$

Atta boy. Only the pansy's will send 1 or 2 songs if it's an 'average' system. Maybe she takes the best of the bunch... or maybe, just maybe she adds them all up - which in my case will be still likely be a 5 at best (assuming I continue my current trend).

I'll be sending a full complement. Apparently I have nothing to lose.

Unbelievable she's never heard of Mr. Mister!

I had about 5 bands I thought she would never know, but all showed up in the last.fm stats.. Bummer! But I got something that wasn't in there, let's hope for the best.

good question... sorry I didn't clarify it before...
well the idea is introducing me to a band.. if you think that you can do it with one song, by all means go with one... but if you think one song can't give me a feel for the overall sound of the band, give me more.. I am not scoring the songs... I am scoring the band...
the biggest criterion is the likelihood of me wanting to come back to the band...

the submissions tell me that most of you got the idea though....

I had Arcturus, Darkwater, Oddland, Magic Pie, Touchstone and Persona non Grata in mind, thinking there should have been at least one of those you didn't know. Then I saw all of them in your last.fm

However I just realised that lolzeez sent me Genesis.. (He sent me during the previous round because of his trip and I didn't pay attention)

I won't accept his submission, but since I didn't get back to him on time, I will let him send me something when he comes back from his trip...

I use 'roulette' as a keyword to label them....

Might of been me, I have a hard time sending emails in general and prefer the pm system for our roulettes so sending an email with roulette, round, song, my name, the name of my genital herpes medication, my first born's name, my preferred vehicle brand, Run DMC, the Sopranos, and Bob Barker.........ALL in the subject line. Well, it's a tad tedious.

I actually have an idea for Round #7 ... and I give you 2 options...

a) Melody
b) Harmony

If you choose option a, give me something with a beautiful melody. Your song won't be assessed for anything else.. It doesn't haven't to be technically competent... complex or anything.... I find myself gotten addicted to some songs because of the haunting/catchy/mind-blowing/[insert cool-sounding adjectives here] melody although they are too flat for my taste...

If you choose option b.. same idea basically.. It can be harmonization of vocals and / or instruments... Show me some tastefully and masterfully added layers...
