Yes you should. A Rare Thunderstorm in Spring is amazingly good.

Arrived today:

Maschine: Rubidium

I bought this young British band's 2nd album Naturalis in December and I love it, especially the closing track Megacyma. Seriously, if you've never heard it and want a shot of energy, go for that! It takes about 2 mins to kick in, but when it does, it really does!

Listening to the debut Rubidium from 2013 now. Some remarkably eclectic sounds coming from this band.

Trying to go through my Bandcamp wishlist and get all the albums I've been meaning to for ages. First two:

Crippled Black Phoenix - I, Vigilante
Bent Knee - Shiny Eyed Babies

I haven't bought many albums in last couple of years, mostly because I'm constantly short on money. Anyway, two visits to my local record store this week and my haul is:

A Perfect Circle - Eat the Elephant
Leprous - Bilateral
Type O Negative - Dead Again

My local record store was at risk of quitting earlier this year, because the owner wanted to do something else and to my understanding, they had been unprofitable for years. Thankfully he found someone willing to buy it. :metal I would've done it if I wasn't a poor student. :lol

Since last time I posted, I got these (past two months or so):

The Dear Hunter - Act V: Hymns With the Devil in Confessional
The Mars Volta – Amputechture
Ulver – Shadows of the Sun

Hekz – Invicta
Green Carnation – Light of Day, Day of Darkness
Ghost – Meliora
Ghost - Popestar EP
The Dear Hunter – Act I/II/III Boxset
Meshuggah – ObZen

Kaddisfly – Set Sail the Prairie
Sleep – Dopesmoker
Cardiacs – Sing to God
Mr. Bungle – Mr. Bungle
Ulver – The Norwegian National Opera

Sleep – The Sciences
Perihelion Ship – To Paint a Bird of Fire

Titles in italics were cases of simply not having them yet. I got the Dear Hunter box-set to get Act I & III in one go, I have owned the regular version of Act II for years. Underscored titles are purchases thanks to my roulette so far.

I got about half of these in the last two/three weeks, so I have quite some catching up to do here :)

Looks like it's a re-release of a 2017 compilation, just in time for the tour.
